Add a punch of flavour to your salads by adding the Aria Kitchen All Purpose Masala to it. In this recipe, we coated chickpeas with the all purpose masala to give it some spice. You will need an air fryer to get the chickpeas crispy however, you can always toss your seasoned chickpeas in the oven if you don't have an air fryer. We do recommend using an air fryer if you have one as it cooks food evenly, meaning your chickpeas will be nice and crispy all round.
Air fryers are known for not requiring oil for any cooking but we decided to lightly oil our chickpeas in this recipe to prevent the chickpeas from drying out too much. It is completely optional to add oil to the chickpeas and we have found that some have a preference for drier and crunchier chickpeas.
This recipe should take no more than 15 minutes to make and makes an amazing quick meal for the days you are hungry and running low on time. It is also packed with protein thanks to the chickpeas.
